Pine Grove Shelter – Chenango Valley State Park

Come spend the afternoon surrounded by great friends, amazing Porsches, and one of New York’s most scenic state parks. We’ve reserved the Pine Grove Shelter as our home base for a relaxed day filled with conversation, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to explore.

We’re thrilled to have TKC Food Truck, one of the Southern Tier’s favorite local food trucks, serving lunch. Your meal is included with your registration and features your choice of:

        Single SmashBurger

        Chicago Beef

        Braised Chicken Wrap

        Marinated Portobello Sandwich

Each meal also includes chips and macaroni salad, drink and a dessert.

If we have enough interested participants, we’ll also be organizing a friendly Bocce Ball Tournament. Whether you’re a seasoned player or have never thrown a bocce ball before, it’s all about having fun and enjoying some friendly competition.

After lunch, take advantage of everything Chenango Valley State Park has to offer. Stretch your legs on the scenic hiking trails, cool off with a swim at the lake, check out the golf course, or keep an eye on the sky—the park is one of the area’s best spots for observing majestic bald eagles.

There’s nothing you need to bring, but if you’d like to share, an easy dessert is always appreciated! Please remember that Chenango Valley State Park is a carry-in, carry-out facility, so be prepared to take home anything you bring with you.

CNYPCA is covering the cost of lunch for all attendees. The only expense is the $7 New York State Park vehicle entrance fee, payable directly to the park upon arrival.

Whether you’re a longtime member, a first-time attendee, or bringing family and friends, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a summer afternoon with the Porsche community. Bring your Porsche, your appetite, and your sense of adventure—we’ll take care of the rest!

Finding the Pine Grove Shelter

Please use the Main Entrance to Chenango Valley State Park off NY Route 369.Some GPS devices may direct you to the Rogers Road entrance, which is closed to day-use traffic during the summer.

After entering the park:

1. Proceed through the entrance booth and continue on the main park road.
2. Stay on the main road as it winds through the park.
3. Follow the signs for Pine Grove Pavilion/Shelter.
4. The Pine Grove Shelter is located near the park’s day-use area and has its own parking area adjacent to the shelter.

If you don’t immediately see a row of Porsches, just follow the sound of great conversations and the smell of TKC Food Truck—we’ll be there waiting for you!
