This has always been one of our most popular events! We’ve planned a beautiful countryside drive filled with scenic views and the wonderful scents of summer blooms along the way.

Meet-Up Details:

Please arrive at the Food Bank of Central New York by 10:00 AM. We will gather in the first parking lot for a meet-and-greet, followed by sign-in and waiver collection before we begin our tour.

We kindly ask that you bring a donation or check to support the Food Bank of CNY and help those in need access nutritious food.

The Drive & Lunch Stop:

Our driving tour will take us through some truly picturesque areas before arriving at The Wheelhouse Restaurant, where we’ll enjoy lunch overlooking Cayuga Lake and the canal. It’s a perfect setting to relax, with boats coming and going from the marina as we dine.

Sweet Stop Finale:

After lunch, we’ll continue on to The Spotted Duck Creamery—a must-visit destination in Yates County. This charming, farm-based creamery is known for its rich frozen custard made from duck eggs produced right on-site, combined with local and organic ingredients.

What makes it special:

Signature duck egg custard for an extra rich, creamy texture

This will be our final stop for the tour.

From there:

Members heading south will have a convenient route home

Members heading north can easily access Route 104

Others can enjoy a scenic return east back to Central New York
