The Hilliard U.S. Vintage Grand Prix Weekend returns to Watkins Glen International Thursday, September 10 through Sunday, September 13.

CNYPCA will once again have our familiar home base in the Inner Loop, hosted by Brian Daley and Chris & Cathy White.

Sites #40, #41, #42 & #43

There is no charge to drive into the track and park, and some parking will be available at Site #43 for CNYPCA members.

️ FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 — WATKINS GLEN GRAND PRIX FESTIVAL

Don’t forget that Friday brings another Watkins Glen tradition—the Grand Prix Festival in downtown Watkins Glen.

The streets come alive with historic cars, motorsports history, enthusiasts, and the atmosphere that makes Vintage Weekend so special.

Last year, Rebecca organized a CNYPCA meetup during the festival, and it was a great opportunity for members to enjoy downtown Watkins Glen together before heading back to the track.

SPECIAL 9/11 EVENT AT THE GLEN — FRIDAY NIGHT

Watkins Glen International is also holding a special 9/11 remembrance event Friday evening during SVRA Weekend.

If you already have a Vintage Weekend ticket, admission to the Friday-night event is included.

The evening will commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11 with local first responders, tribute lights, music, food and beverages available for purchase, and a special GLOW Car Show. The GLOW Car Show is an additional $10for those wishing to participate.

WGI Ticket Manager Cyndy Burrows shared that last year’s event was extremely moving and that proceeds benefit the R.A.C.E. Foundation.

The Friday-night event is scheduled for 7:00–10:00 PM.

Whether you’re solving clues through the Central New York countryside or spending a weekend surrounded by some of the greatest vintage race cars in the country, we hope you’ll join your fellow CNYPCA members for these upcoming events.
