DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun afternoon of scenic driving and friendly competition at our annual CNYPCA Gimmick Rally on Saturday\, August 22! \nThe rally will begin at 1:00 PM in the Canal View Café parking lot\, located at: \nCanal View Café\n9 Canal Street\nSylvan Beach\, NY 13157 \nThe rally will conclude at: \n12 North Sports Bar\n10125 Mulaney Road\nMarcy\, NY 13403 \nSince 12 North Sports Bar opens at 4:00 PM\, participants who arrive early can relax and wait for the remaining teams to finish before we gather inside. Even if you’re unable to participate in the rally\, you’re welcome to join us at 12 North Sports Bar for food\, drinks\, and fellowship. \nWhat Is a Gimmick Rally?\nA Gimmick Rally is a leisurely drive through the countryside where teams follow a set of fun\, clue-based directions—not too easy\, but not too difficult either! \nAlong the route\, you’ll search for landmarks and answer questions about what you find. At the start of the rally\, each team will receive three playing cards\, with two additional cards awarded at the finish. \nThis is not a speed competition. The winners are determined by the team that answers the most questions correctly and finishes with the best five-card poker hand. The prize? Bragging rights until next year’s rally! \nBring your sense of adventure\, enjoy some beautiful roads\, and have a great time with fellow Porsche enthusiasts!
