DESCRIPTION:CNYPCA 2026 Fall Tour\nCatskills\, Covered Bridges & Cooperstown\nSaturday\, September 26\, 2026\nJoin the Central New York Region Porsche Club of America for a full day of memorable autumn\nCatskills driving\, mountain scenery\, historic covered bridges\, and an evening at Brewery Ommegang in\nCooperstown.\nThe route has been designed to showcase some of the region’s most enjoyable touring roads\, with\nsweeping curves\, rolling elevation changes\, forested valleys\, mountain views\, and stretches of classic\nCatskills scenery. As autumn begins to settle over the region\, participants can expect a beautiful and\nrewarding drive through one of New York’s most distinctive landscapes.\nEvent Schedule\n8:30 a.m. – Participants arrive and check in\n8:45 a.m. – Mandatory drivers’ meeting\n9:00 a.m. – Tour departure\n12:00-1:30 p.m. – Lunch at the Catskills Visitor Center\n5:00 p.m. – Dinner at Brewery Ommegang\nParticipants should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. to allow sufficient time for event check-in and waiver\nsigning before the mandatory drivers’ meeting.\nOptional Friday-Night Lodging in Binghamton\nParticipants traveling from outside the Binghamton area may wish to arrive on Friday\, September 25\,\nand stay overnight. With approximately 264 miles of planned tour driving on Saturday\, staying locally on\nFriday can provide a more relaxed start\, reduce the total amount of driving for the day\, and make it\neasier to arrive by 8:30 a.m. for check-in.\nThe Greater Binghamton area offers numerous lodging options. The tour will roll out promptly at 9:00 a.m.\nOur morning route will leave Binghamton and roll into the Catskills along a carefully selected\ncombination of rural roads and scenic byways. We will regroup and prepare to resume the tour at approximately 1:30\np.m.\nAfternoon Tour and Covered Bridges\nFollowing lunch\, we will head back west through the Catskills then turn North toward Cooperstown.\nThe afternoon route will carry us deeper into the region through forested hills\, small mountain\ncommunities\, river valleys\, and scenic back roads. This portion of the tour offers another enjoyable mix\nof curves\, elevation changes\, and changing landscapes as we make our way toward Central New York.\nAlong the way\, we will stop at two historic covered bridges – first in Livingston Manor\, followed by the\nDownsville Covered Bridge. These stops will provide opportunities to stretch our legs\, take\nphotographs\, and enjoy two distinctive landmarks along the route.\nStops remain subject to traffic\, weather\, road conditions\, and available parking.\nDinner at Brewery Ommegang\n5:00 p.m.\nBrewery Ommegang Restaurant and Tap House\n656 County Highway 33\nCooperstown\, NY 13326\nParticipants may join the group for a casual dinner featuring Ommegang’s food and Belgian-inspired\nbeer selections. Reservations must be made by September 12\, 2026\, or before the block is filled\, whichever\noccurs first.
