Think you can follow directions? \nCome find out! \nStart: 1:00 PM at: \nCanal View Café\n9 Canal Street\nSylvan Beach\, NY 13157 \nThe rally will conclude at: \n12 North Sports Bar\n10125 Mulaney Road\nMarcy\, NY 13403 \nSo\, what exactly is a Gimmick Rally? \nIt’s part scenic Porsche drive\, part scavenger hunt\, part trivia contest—and part poker game. \nTeams will follow a set of intentionally slightly vague directions through the countryside\, searching for landmarks along the route. At various points\, you’ll be asked questions about what you see. \nEach team will also receive three playing cards at the start and two more at the finish. \nAnd remember: this is NOT a race. Finishing first earns you absolutely nothing except more time to wait for everyone else! \nThe winning team will be determined by a combination of correct answers and the best poker hand\, along with the most important prize of all: CNYPCA bragging rights for the next year. \nThe rally finishes at 12 North Sports Bar\, which opens at 4:00 PM. If we arrive a little early\, we’ll hang out and wait for the rest of the group. \nNot interested in doing the rally?
