Gil Wistrup will be once again preparing a Tech Session for CNY PCA. This time the Tech Session is on Basic Maintenance and will be held at Gil’s Garage in Cazenovia NY. The date is Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 am -12:00 (noon) and coffee & donuts will be provided.
The cost for basic maintenance on your 911, Boxster, or Cayman has been steadily rising to the point where an oil change is between $400 and $500 at the dealership. A major service costs even more. Is your Porsche so exclusive that only the dealer can work on it? Not really. This Tech Session on Basic Maintenance will show you what work is required for a major service, how to do the work, what parts and tools you will need, and where to get the tools and parts. Bumper removal will also be covered. You can take pride that you did the work yourself and you did the job right. You will also save money. The focus of this tech session is on water cooled Boxsters, Caymans, and 911s.
Register early since space in the garage is limited and Gil will take the first 15 people. After that, you will be put on a wait list.
