CNYPCA FALL TOUR

October 10 @ 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

Free

We currently have 35 cars attending this Fall Tour. Hooray, what a great response! I’ve driven the route 3 times now and am confident you will enjoy the roads, foliage and camaraderie. I’m including several attachments with this email to help you (and me) get prepared for the tour. Click the blue links below and print out as needed.

PCA Liability Waiver for Fall Tour 2020 – If you can, please print this out at home (in color if possible) and bring it with you. We need to witness you signing it so don’t sign it until Sat. morning. We will have blank waivers if you cannot bring one. If you minors in your car you’ll need this one too.  PCA Liability Waiver for Minors for Fall Tour 2020

PCA Covid-19 Waiver  – If you can, please print this out at home, sign it and bring it with you. We don’t have to witness your signing of this document. If we already have a copy of this waiver on-file for you, then you don’t need to complete it again. We will have blank waivers if you cannot bring one.

Fall Tour Route Instructions

Menu for Oneida Lake Brew Haus

Please try to arrive at the Park-n-Ride at NYS Thruway Exit 34 no later than 9:30 this coming Sat. morning. This will give us time to get everyone signed-in, have a safety meeting and be on our way by 10:00. There is a McDonalds and a Dunkin Donuts across the street from the Park-n-Ride in case you need to grab something or use their facilities before your arrival.  Because we have so many cars we will have two groups leaving about 10 minutes apart. You will be assigned to a group. Each group will have a Leader and a Sweeper. Their cell numbers are listed in the Safety Meeting Points.

The 1st leg of our tour will take us to Pixley Falls State Park. It should take about 1 hour to get there. Remember to bring a picnic lunch to eat at the state park. There are picnic tables there but you may want to bring a blanket to sit on just in case. There are toilets there but the water to the sinks is turned off due to C-19 so hand sanitizer will be needed.

The 2nd leg of our tour will take us to Old Forge. It should take about 45 minutes to get there. Once we get to Old Forge you’ll have about 1 ½ hours of free time to do whatever you’d like. We’ll be leaving Old forge at 3:00.

The 3rd and final leg of our tour will take us to Oneida Lake Brew Haus just south of Sylvan Beach. It should take about 1 ¼ hours to get there. We will be parking as a group on the lawn at the Brew Haus. We have made arrangements to send/call in our food orders ahead of time. If you give your food order to us between now and when we leave then we will get it in to the restaurant so our wait time should be greatly reduced once we arrive. After looking at the menu (attached), Email your order to mpond77@verizon.net. We’ll be forwarding all orders to the restaurant before we leave on Sat. morning. You are responsible for your own tab. We’ll need your name, and order (including sides). Order your drinks once you get there.

The coronavirus is still a threat to us all. If you are experiencing coronavirus symptoms or are not feeling well the day of our tour, please stay home and get well. During our tour please maintain social distancing protocols. Thank you.

The weather is looking good, the roads are good and foliage is looking amazing. See you Saturday morning! Don’t forget your name tags.
