CNY PCA Annual Charity Dinner and Auction

CNY PCA Annual Charity Dinner and Auction

A highlight of our club’s social calendar has always been the dinner and auction that is the primary fund raiser for the charity we support each year, and this year’s event is shaping up to be one you’ll not want to miss. The charity we are supporting for 2014-2015 is Mom’s House in Johnson City, NY which is a non-profit, pre-school child care center that provides free day care for single parents who are pursuing a high school, trade school, or college level degree. This support allows the parent to obtain employment that leads to an independent, self sustaining family unit. Mom’s House has achieved an inspiring record of successes in their mission. Last year we raised $3,500 for this worthy charity, a record for our club. Let’s do even better this year. We’ve heard your feedback from last year’s event and enhanced the auction viagra process to speed things up and make it more fun.

Syracuse Motorama

Syracuse Motorama
Dick Jeffers passed on a good idea for our club – having a group display at the Syracuse Motorama!

We have been invited to display some Porsches (any vintage) at the Syracuse Motorama at the NYS Fairgrounds Center of Pprogress Bldg. on March 28th & 29th. Cost is $25 for each car, which includes 2 passes to the show and other goodies. We also can set up a table with our banner, membership applications, newsletters and other handouts at no cost. Cars are brought into the bldg Friday afternoon and can leave on Sunday afternoon or Monday. Owners do not have to stay with their cars. Cars dripping oil or other fluids may be rejected at the door. I can co-ordinate with the organizers. We can discuss this at the planning meeting.

Mitch Vannordstrand’s Tech Session

Mitch VanNordstrand is again opening his garage to CNY members so that we all have a place to go and fantasize about what we can do when the snow disappears and the salt gets washed away.
